Pretend Play for Kids- Travel Idea
Keeping kids busy and watching screen time can be challenging for parents. Sometimes it takes a new thing to help capture their attention! This free Pretend Play for Kids Travel Printable pack is just the thing to get them imagining travel to far off destinations. I would say this printable activity pack would be good for younger elementary ages, perhaps ages 6-10. Younger kids will need help filling out the blanks on some of the activities.
You can let them add a photo or they can draw their own picture on the Passport, and they can practice writing their name and other details.
The boarding passes look very official. They even have a QR code like real tickets! (If parents are curious like I was, yes, the QR code works but it just goes to freepik.com where the image is from.) LOL. Sorry for the spoiler!
This activity pack also allows for a great discussion/learning time. Parents can discuss how people board a plane and how plane tickets and passports work in the real world. It would be a good activity to add to kindergarten or perhaps first grade social studies if your child is learning about travel. For homeschoolers– any free printable is a win! You won’t be asked to subscribe or enter any email to print.
This activity pack comes with a total of 7 colorful pages. It includes several travel-themed writing pages with blanks to fill in all about your trip. Add details with landmarks, what kind of food people eat in that region, and more. The blanks are large enough for younger kids to draw a picture instead of writing details.
Keep in mind this file prints as a PDF so if you want to select part of it instead of the full 7 pages, just adjust settings before clicking print. Instead of print all, specify which pages you want to print. Enjoy!
