Walking around the city

We took an amazing East Mediterranean cruise with Holland America and Korcula was our 2nd port. With Holland America you will tender into the harbor. Make sure you bring your swimsuit with you and plenty of sunscreen. While there are no traditional beaches, there are plenty of places to swim. Everything is within walking distance. This was the only port we did not book a tour on and we had an amazing time. The port itself is beautiful and you are surrounded be history. Plan on walking around, taking a swim and eating some great food as there are a ton restaurants.

If you get off the ship, walk into town and go left along the waters edge. Here you will find some tour boats. These boats offer a wide range of tours. There is an on and off boat tour there that charges $20 total a person. It takes you to several different places that you can hop off where you want. We didn’t find it till we were already heading back to the ship. The boats were pretty full, so it’s worth checking out.
