Daniel and I had a Teppanyaki dinner at Komorebi. We sat around the large, flat-top grill, eager for the show to begin. The chef’s knives flashed as he sliced, flipped, and seared ingredients with precision. Flames danced, filling the air with the rich aroma of sizzling meat, seafood, and vegetables. And when they made a shooting star from the rice and vegetables and wrote our names on the grill…WOW! The mix of anticipation, entertainment, and delicious food made it an unforgettable evening!

Dining at Huichol Cocina Artesanal gave us a more casual buffet-style meal. We had varied choices for breakfast and dinner there several times during our stay. Each night is themed so every night is different!

No vacation in my book is complete without a little pampering, and the Tzicuri Spa delivered a memorable wellness experience for Daniel and me. We booked a signature massage, incorporating ancient healing techniques of the Huichol culture and natural ingredients. The tranquil ambiance, soothing aromatherapy, and expert hands of the therapist left us feeling completely rejuvenated. Various Hauri rituals, deep-tissue massages, body wraps, and facials are offered. The hydrotherapy circuit and outdoor relaxation areas added an extra touch of luxury to the experience.

The poolside bar service ensured that we were never far from a refreshing drink or snack. One of the things we love most about is the incredible variety of pools! There are pools and hot tubs tucked away in every corner, making it easy to find a relaxing spot. We especially appreciate that some of the hot tubs are reserved for adults only—perfect for a quiet soak!

Since it’s Mexico, the hot tubs aren’t scorching hot but instead just the right temperature for unwinding all day long. And did we mention the lazy river? The Delta Hotels by Marriott Riviera Nayarit in Mexico offers a lazy river within its “Aqua Jungle & River” waterpark, which also includes pools, waterslides, and whirlpool baths—perfect for families seeking a relaxing water adventure.
